Bicycle Cinema: Kein Land für Niemand

It is open-air bicycle cinema time again! Together we will watch the documentary “No Country for No One” on May 29. The film follows a rescue mission in the Mediterranean Sea, shows the catastrophic conditions in refugee camps, and gives a voice to people who survived the life-threatening journey to Europe. At the same time, it looks at the political and social developments in Germany: a growing right-wing populism shapes public discourse, flight and migration are increasingly criminalized, and humanitarian aid is coming under pressure.

The bicycle cinema is powered by eight bike trainers that generate electricity for the sound system and the screen. For most people this means leaning back and relaxing, but for a few volunteers it means: pedal, pedal, pedal!🚲🦿
