Your chance to get involved

Our organizing group is the heart of the VELOciraptors community. Here we plan weekly rides, coordinate events, design our merchandise, and take care of our public image. Since we work without fixed hierarchies, we have the freedom to implement ideas easily and develop structures flexibly. We welcome new perspectives and people who want to take on responsibility or simply contribute their ideas. We want to keep the barriers to joining the organization group as low as possible. That’s why everyone speaks in the language they feel most comfortable with at our organization meetings. At the same time, we make sure that everyone can follow the discussion, providing regular translation if necessary. The organization group meetings generally take place on the last day of the month, unless there is a valid reason not to and the majority does not prefer another date. Anyone can participate in the organizing meetings without any special requirements or commitments. The dates are announced in advance in the community, usually via WhatsApp. Detailed information about how the organizing group works can be found in the community guidelines document under Discover → Documents.
